This past week I’ve been able to hoist the boys off to school each morning. Thus far (two days), I haven’t been screaming my head off about getting ready.
On the way out we are able to swing by ChickFila for a couple chicken minis. It’s literally the best part of my day. These are the things I have missed so much that I didn’t even take time to appreciate. I found myself, like most parents, striving to make their life better but mostly improving the materialistic makeup of their lives rather than the substance and memories in their life.
As I watch my youngest, still cuddled up to his Minnie Mouse, I’m learning more and more each day from them and how to be a better husband and daddy.
